Our Mission and Values

The Westchester Club Homeowners Association is a not-for-profit corporation, incorporated under the laws of the state of Illinois, and established to maintain and administer the common areas and to enhance and protect the value, desirability, and attractiveness of Westchester Club.

The Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors has 5 members, each elected by the owners for a 2-year term, on a staggered basis. The Board has the responsibility for the administration of the business of the association, according to our governing documents, and in close coordination with our professional Property Manager.

Board elections occur at the Annual Members meeting in early December each year. In addition to the Annual Members Meeting where the next year's budget is presented to owners, the Annual Board Meeting follows immediately where the officers for the next year are elected by the Board, the budget is approved, and Committees are appointed and commissioned annually. In addition to the Annual Meetings, there are Quarterly Board Meetings, open to all owners. Notice of meetings is sent to owners via email, unless the owner has “opted-out” of email communication. Recently, most meetings were held remotely, using Google Meet. In 2026, the Board may elect to hold Board meetings either remote only, or in combination with an-in-person component.  Special Member Meetings will be held in-person.
